We are seeking a talented and driven 3D Visualization Artist to join our team. In this role, you will support our existing team of artists and designers in producing high-quality visual content that showcases our products on our website or in stunning photorealistic environments. This position allows you to grow your skills, contributing to the creation of innovative and high-quality visual content.

As a 3D Visualization Artist, your primary task will be creating product models to show in our eCommerce environments. You will also design 3D environments and animations for marketing, ecommerce, and product development purposes. You will work closely with the design and multimedia teams to ensure that our products are represented visually in the most compelling way possible.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency creating and editing 3D models in 3DS Max or Maya
  • Understanding of rendering software, such as V-Ray or Corona.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience creating photorealistic renderings of environments or products.
  • Basic understanding of materials, lighting, and composition for high-quality renders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to creating accurate, lifelike imagery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience generating low poly 3D models from CAD source files
  • Experience with animation and creating 3D video clips from rendered environments.
  • Knowledge of camera lenses, framing, and lighting techniques to enhance 3D scene composition.
  • Ability to create custom materials that mimic real-world surfaces, such as wood, metal, and plastic.
  • Experience in architectural visualization or interior design, with the ability to create realistic 3D representations of spaces and products within them.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop

What You’ll Do

  • Create high-quality, photorealistic product models specifically designed for our Threekit-based eCommerce configurator, ensuring a wide variety of products, textures, and materials are accurately represented.
  • Develop multiple viewpoints and configurations of products to support a seamless, customizable customer experience, showcasing different finishes, components, and desk setups.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure accurate representation of materials, dimensions, and product details across all renders.
  • Maintain an organized and scalable library of 3D assets and product renders, ensuring they are optimized for both performance and visual quality in the eCommerce configurator.
  • Ensure consistency in lighting, materials, and overall quality across all product renders to maintain brand standards.
  • Assist in creating 3D environments and scene renders to showcase our products in realistic, office-inspired settings.
  • Support video creation by producing animations that highlight product functionality, configuration options, and environment interactions.
  • Manage revisions efficiently based on feedback from the design and product teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Continuously optimize 3D assets and file sizes for web use while maintaining the highest possible render quality.

  • Compensation: $25 - $29 hourly
