Assistant Director of Sport Information and Facilities Rentals
POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Assistant Director of Sport Information and Facilities Rentals is responsible for maintaining accurate sports records for all teams in compliance with NCAA Division Three regulations, overseeing the college's athletics website and social media platforms, and leading the athletics rental process. The position involves establishing and expanding relationships with community partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth rentals and maximizing usage of athletic facilities. Additionally, the Assistant Director manages all accounts payable functions of the Athletic Department and contributes to departmental budgeting and financial oversight.
The Assistant Director will be expected to:
??? Manage accurate sports records, compile statistics, and ensure all documentation complies with NCAA Division Ill regulations.
??? Manage the administration of the athletics website and social media platforms, updating game results, news, and event information.
??? Coordinate the scheduling and management of athletics facility rentals, including developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and internal stakeholders.
??? Works with Accounts Payable to maintain the functions for the Athletics Department, including vendor payments, reconciliation, and budget monitoring.
??? Assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures related to facility rentals, ensuring compliance with college policies and maximizing facility usage.
??? Plan and coordinate logistics for athletic events, tournaments, and community programs, ensuring successful execution and customer satisfaction.
??? Recruit, train, and supervise student staff and interns who support athletic communications event operations, and facility management.
??? Compile and submit monthly and annual reports on facility usage, event attendance, rental revenue, and other key performance metrics.
??? Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials for athletics events and facility rentals, in collaboration with the Department's media relations personnel.
??? Responds to requests for information from media personnel and the public.
??? Serves as institutional representative to the media for all athletic department activities.
??? Designs, writes, and oversees the production of printed and digital promotional materials including catalogs, brochures, flyers, and program and media guides; gathers and compiles statistical information.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
??? Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field
??? Four years of related experience in in sports information, athletic communications, facility operations, or event management within a collegiate setting
??? Demonstrated experience managing NCAA Division Ill sports records, compiling statistics, and maintaining compliance with NCAA regulations
??? Strong understanding of social media strategies and content management systems (CMS) for maintaining athletics websites and platforms
??? Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with community partners, external stakeholders, and vendors
??? Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
??? Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
??? Experience working with large, underserved populations

Salary Range: $64,649-$75,465. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
