Position Summary:

Our client is hiring an experienced Assistant Project Manager with a mechanical background to support our growing operations. This role involves coordinating construction projects and ensuring the timely, within-budget completion of mechanical installations. Flexibility to travel within the Atlanta region is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project alignment.
• Oversee mechanical installations, ensuring they meet specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to keep projects on track.
• Regular travel within the Atlanta region to provide hands-on management and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Those with equivalent field experience are encouraged to apply.
• 1-3 years of project management experience in the mechanical or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their application in construction projects.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel within the Atlanta region as required.
