The highly-touted South Korean hospitality company known as Glow Seoul makes another impact in the tri-state area with a traditional Korean-style café known as Cheong Su; now open in Fort Lee, NJ and is looking for the most amazing Baker!

Job Description:

As a Baker at Cheong Su, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, and other baked goods. You’ll work with high-quality ingredients to produce products that meet our standards of taste, texture, and appearance. You’ll also ensure that our bakery is clean, organized, and operates smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes and ensure the consistent quality and presentation of all products.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Ensure that baked goods are fresh, attractive, and ready for display or customer orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies.
• Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet production goals, especially during peak hours.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new baked goods or seasonal offerings.
• Assist with packaging and labeling products for retail or customer orders.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or in a similar baking role preferred (but not required).
• Knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
