Sanitas Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time RN Charge Nurse for our Cape Coral - HUB facility in Cape Coral, FL. This position involves performing nursing duties in an outpatient setting across multiple facilities, providing onsite clinical and training support for nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP). The RN works under established protocols and collaborates with operations and medical leadership to ensure the clinical staff performs at their highest potential.

Responsibilities:

• Support the clinical team with emergent patient care needs across assigned locations.
• Conduct training and competency assessments for new and established staff.
• Perform clinical interviews for medical assistants and nurse candidates.
• Facilitate communication between interdepartmental staff and leaders.
• Act as a role model, emphasizing service orientation and continuous improvement.
• Coach staff on safety guidelines, including infection control and emergency procedures.
• Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with the annual review of policies as directed by Nursing Leadership.
• Help maintain the medical center's budget and inventory of clinical supplies.
• Oversee the execution of clinical procedures, such as vaccinations and wound care.
• Adapt to company change initiatives and new responsibilities.
• Maintain communication with Nursing Leadership regarding productivity and staff development.
• Assist in company health fairs and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BS or graduate from an accredited school of Nursing required.
• IV Certification and active State of Florida RN License required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Case Management experience preferred.
• CPR-BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• 2 years of care management or patient education experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
