Job Title: Engineer III - Solid Waste Industry

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineer III to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will play a critical role in the successful engineering and construction of solid waste disposal facilities. Your expertise will be essential in navigating complex projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and leading a team of talented professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering and construction of solid waste disposal facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, including solid waste, air, storm water, and wastewater.
• Oversee landfill design and permitting processes.
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Lead and mentor environmental, engineering, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Travel to remote project sites as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in the solid waste industry with a strong emphasis on landfill design and construction.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
