Incommon is hiring on behalf of a New York based fastgrowing healthcare technology company dedicated to automating tedious administrative activities done by clinical staff in hospitals using AI. We are looking for a Head of AI to join our early team to drive strong pipeline creation to scale the impact. They have just raised $2.8mn in seed round from renowned global investors to grow the company to the next stage.
Position Summary
As the Head of AI you will lead the development and strategic direction of our AI solutions particularly focusing on voice AI for healthcare automation. This is a leadership role where you will tackle challenges beyond the capabilities of the founding engineer using your deep expertise in AI to enhance our systems efficiency and reliability. You will innovate to solve complex problems such as latency improvement and interruption handling and develop solutions that differentiate Confido Health from competitors by leveraging unique proprietary AI models and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and guide the AI team in developing and scaling our voice AI solutions ensuring they are optimized for performance low latency and reliability.
Solve advanced challenges related to interruption handling system latency and scaling conversational AI systems implementing innovative solutions that are ahead of the industry curve.
Research and integrate the latest LLM advancements and cuttingedge AI technologies into our systems driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure AI solutions align with business needs and comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
Act as a visionary leader architect LLM systems which can support a plethora of use cases
Ensure the AI infrastructure and models are scalable robust and designed for longterm innovation setting the roadmap for future AI development.

Requirements :
7 years of experience in AI development with a proven track record in voice AI conversational AI and building largescale productionlevel AI systems.
Expertise in optimizing AI systems for latency performance hallucination and handling complex challenges like interruption management.
Deep familiarity with LLMs NLP ASR and other relevant technologies with a focus on their application in healthcare and voice automation.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving complex AI projects to completion.
Ability to innovate beyond existing technologies developing proprietary solutions that set Confido Health apart in the market.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch) is required.
A strategic mindset and vision for leveraging AI to revolutionize healthcare automation.
