General Description:

• Monitor head counts, weights, tattoo numbers and any other information required by yard foreman, government inspectors and other plant personnel
• Answer phone located at the scale and be able to answer questions on loads producer and /or truckers are calling about
• Communicate with truckers by answering questions and getting information to check the load in
• Use the computer full time to verify load numbers in our CPS computer system
• Work with yard personnel on confirming pen counts, draft counts and tattoo numbers
• Multitasking by checking drivers in and make sure on schedule and scaling
• Fast paced environment where attention to detailed is required 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills:

• Attention to detail
• Computer knowledge- (will do a words per min test)
• Able to communicate verbally and in written form in English
• Bilingual preferred
• Able to work all 3 shifts as needed

Education Requirements (if applicable)

• High school diploma or equivalent
