Russell’s Bromeliads, one of North America's premier growers of Tillandsia (Air plants), is seeking a driven and personable Inside Salesperson to join our dynamic team. As an Inside Salesperson, you will be at the heart of our customer interactions—managing inbound and outbound sales inquiries, providing outstanding service, and ensuring that clients have everything they need to succeed. This role combines the energy of sales with the satisfaction of building strong customer relationships, in a fast-paced, fun, and team-oriented environment. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a supportive, family-like workplace and is open to learning and growing. Compensation:

• Expected First Year Earnings: $65,000 - $75,000
• Paid Time Off
• Remote position

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to manage current client accounts and prospect for new opportunities
• Be able to develop, tailor, and present Everyday and Seasonal programs
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive sales growth; regularly check in with current customers and identify new sales opportunities
• Provide product information, including pricing, and availability, and assist customers with placing orders
• Meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives
• Track customer interactions, and sales activities, update the CRM system, and provide feedback on customer needs and product trends
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Stay up to date on product knowledge, market trends, and customer feedback to optimize sales strategies
• Accurately process customer orders through our system, ensure correct billing and shipping information, and provide quotes

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the wholesale, B2B, or horticulture industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve targets
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office
• A passion for plants or familiarity with the horticultural industry is a plus

Our 20-person team operates a B2B model, where we wholesale our products to hundreds of esteemed plant nurseries, supermarkets, florists, designers, etc. across the U.S. (we do not sell directly to consumers). Our company goal is to enable you (the retailer) to delight your customers with our top-quality tillandsia, delivered fast in as large a quantity and to as many locations as you may need.
