IT Manager/Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative IT Manager/Director to lead our small but dynamic IT team. This role will focus on overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions, with a specific emphasis on enhancing our current capabilities in data analytics using Power BI. The ideal candidate will also manage our server infrastructure to ensure robust, reliable, and secure IT operations. This position is crucial for driving our tech strategy forward, supporting business growth, and ensuring technological alignment with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
  • Direct and oversee a team of 3-5 IT professionals, including software developers and system administrators.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance within the team.
• Software Development and Implementation:
  • Lead the development of custom software applications that meet business needs, focusing on scalability, user experience, and integration with existing systems.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of software projects from conception through to deployment and maintenance.
• Power BI Management:
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to various departments.
• Server and Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises solutions, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.
  • Implement and monitor disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute IT strategies that align with overall business goals, including future technology roadmaps and IT budget management.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to our industry, proposing and integrating those that can enhance our operational efficiency and competitiveness.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Regularly report to senior management on IT project statuses, system performance, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technological needs and translate these into IT solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a director/manager-level or equivalent role.
• Proven experience in leading development projects.
• Understanding of server management, cloud computing, and network infrastructure.
• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
• Certification in IT management or related fields is a plus.
