Job Description

 Roll Law Group PC, the 'captive' law firm for The Wonderful Company, is seeking a litigator with at least four (4) years of experience, with a significant amount of experience in employment law. The Wonderful Company is a privately held $5 billion company with over 10,000 employees and including such well-known brands as Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Halos, POM Wonderful, FIJI Water, JUSTIN and Landmark Wines, and Teleflora.

We are seeking a Contract Litigation Attorney to support our team of litigators in managing day-to-day litigation and providing legal counsel for the company’s farming, food, beverage, and other business sectors.

This is a remote position, requiring availability during Pacific Time hours, with an initial assignment of 2–3 months and the possibility of extension. We are looking for candidates who are members in good standing with the California State Bar Association.

Job Description

• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and all types of discovery.
• Conduct legal research and analysis regarding a broad range of legal matters, including those involving tort or contract issues, intellectual property issues, U.S. food and beverage regulatory matters, commercial disputes, and labor and employment matters, among others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) of experience practicing litigation in a top-tier U.S. law firm preferred.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Strong knowledge of California procedural and substantive law.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills required.
• Participate independently in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines, requiring responsiveness and availability during work hours.
• Member in good standing of California State Bar.

Pay Range: $100 - $175 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills, experience, and

qualifications
