$27.00 to $29.00 per hour Marketing Coordinator

JOB OVERVIEW:

One of New York's premier luxury hotels is seeking a dynamic, passionate, organized, and creative team member. The candidate will report to The Mark’s Marketing Team as well as The Director of Food & Beverage to support in the execution of The Mark's overall marketing strategy, which includes Caviar Kaspia New York. This position requires the individual to proactively see marketing, press, and food & beverage initiatives through while providing clerical and administrative support to the department(s). Additionally, this position will manage all areas of The Mark’s E-Commerce boutique, Le Shop, which includes but is not limited to: liaising with both internal and external customers, proactively managing and ordering inventory, order fulfilment, and more. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with skills or interest in luxury marketing, communications, branding and/or F&B. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, is organized and detail-oriented, with an interest in gaining hands-on on the grounds experience in a growing luxury organization. The candidate should be willing to take initiative, be a team-player, be flexible, open-minded and have a willingness to grow professionally.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Play an integral role in the execution of short and long-term brand priorities; can include but is not limited to: organizing and responding to press opportunities (for the hotel and restaurants), performing concierge like duties within the Caviar Kaspia brand, which includes but is not limited to building guest profiles for a comprehensive database of guests. Manage Le Shop, the hotel's e-commerce website, which includes but is not limited to: proactive inventory and storage management, fulfillment of orders, managing and maintaining vendor relationships, working with The Mark’s Purchasing team, preparing monthly reports, liaising with customers and/or hotel guests, servicing all Le Shop product requests as well as monitoring the Le Shop email inbox. Oversee Caviar Kaspia at The Mark’s inbox, create reservations, oversee VIP experiences, update menu’s and website(s) as needed in a timely and professional manner. Provide The Mark’s Marketing Team with administrative support for example: maintaining various internal tracking documents, writing VIP arrivals, inputting press reservations, hotel website updates, office maintenance, assist with branding initiatives such as in-room collateral creation, branded in-room items and more. Act as day-to-day support for the Director of Food and Beverage, The Director of Marketing, and The Marketing Manager, with administrative tasks assigned as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

A strategic thinker with a passion for luxury service, branding, and/or Food & Beverage A precise attention to detail Strong writing / communication ability with a professional demeanor Ability to thrive and be flexible in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently, take initiative, and approach problems creatively Positive attitude and willingness grow professionally Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage complex projects from creation to completion, plan and prioritize multiple projects, and coordinate to meet deadlines Willing to embrace and put forth new, creative ideas on behalf of The Mark & Caviar Kaspia New York Can work collaboratively with agencies or other external parties on partnerships, events, photo/video shoots etc Experience using Resy is preferred Understanding of Restaurant POS (Point of Sale) system Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or hospitality management A minimum of 1 year of work experience in hospitality or luxury brand marketing Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PPT Preferred experience: Graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is a plus.
