Print Production Operator (REPROGRAPHICS TCHN PRN) Job Summary Under general direction of the Reprographic Supervisor, position is responsible as key operator for the day-to-day set up, operation and maintenance of Quick Copy equipment with a full-service printing department. Functions include but not limited to: Operate multiple, complex digital, high volume laser printers; set-up network files, monitor multiple print queues; provide customer service/administrative duties; and/or simultaneously perform bindery/Wrapping tasks; perform other duties within quick Copy and other producti0on areas and monitor security during business hours. the nature of this job requires the processing and handling of confidential exams and class materials. Oversee the ordering of supplies and monitoring security during business hours.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Experience working on digital equipment in a medium and to high level volume printing environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performing operator maintenance and repairs to complex digital press using specific and specialized tools.
- Knowledge of Pantone Matching System, paper stock and ink printing processes necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Basic math skills to calculate equipment for job specs, calibrate ink flows, and check print documents for accurate data.
- Ability to write instructions on job orders and comprehend written materials such as technical manuals and publications, relative to accomplishing assigned job and/or training responsibilities.
- Organizational and time management skills to assess daily workload to determine job priority, and optimal use of time and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience running large format printers, finishing, and bindery equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting and performing cleaning and maintenance on large format printers, finishing, and bindery equipment.
- Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
