Are you passionate about building relationships and delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients? We are seeking a Private Banker to join our team, where you’ll manage a portfolio of elite clients, providing tailored financial solutions while fostering deep connections to ensure growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned portfolio of private banking clients.
Provide exceptional service by addressing client needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly.
Proactively introduce yourself to new clients, ensuring they feel valued and welcomed.
Client Interaction Cadence
Maintain consistent engagement with all clients in your portfolio, ensuring annual contact.
Conduct quarterly reviews with active clients (at least 25% of your book) to assess financial needs and performance.
Provide high-touch attention to your top clients, including organizing exclusive events such as lunches, dinners, or outings with senior executives.
Client Growth & Retention
Identify and seize opportunities to deepen client relationships by expanding their use of our services.
Proactively address potential retention risks by implementing strategies to maintain client balances.
Drive new business acquisition from both existing clients and referrals, contributing to the bank’s growth.
Reporting & Collaboration
Collaborate with the SVP Head of Branch Banking to achieve branch goals and align with overall bank strategy.
Provide regular updates on client interactions, growth opportunities, and retention efforts.
Complete a minimum of 10 hours of CRA volunteer work annually, with compensation and mileage reimbursement provided.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of experience in private banking or financial services, with a proven track record in high-net-worth client relationship management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities to manage a large client portfolio effectively.
Experience hosting client engagement activities, such as exclusive dinners or executive meetings, is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Office-based role with moderate noise levels, allowing freedom of movement.
Regular travel, primarily local during business hours, with occasional overnight stays.
