Job Description: Senior Financial Consulting Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Financial Consulting Analyst to join our consulting team. In this role you will lead financial analyses develop advanced models and deliver actionable recommendations to help clients optimize performance and achieve strategic objectives. As a Senior Analyst you will take ownership of workstreams collaborate with clients and mentor junior team members contributing to impactful solutions across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities: Advanced Financial Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including profitability assessments cost optimization and cash flow forecasting.
- Identify risks opportunities and areas for improvement within clients financial structures.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to address complex financial challenges and align with business goals.
Financial Modeling and Valuation:
- Build and manage advanced financial models to support scenario planning and decisionmaking.
- Perform indepth company and asset valuations using methodologies such as DCF precedent transactions and comparable company analysis.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and evaluate the potential impact of various strategies.
Client Engagement and Advisory:
- Act as a key point of contact for clients building strong relationships and understanding their financial objectives.
- Prepare and deliver highquality presentations reports and dashboards to communicate findings and strategic recommendations effectively.
- Provide actionable insights to clients ensuring alignment with their overall business strategy.
Project and Workstream Management:
- Lead specific workstreams or components of larger consulting projects ensuring timely and highquality deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to manage project scope risks and resources effectively.
- Track project milestones and provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients.
Market Research and Benchmarking:
- Conduct research on industry trends economic conditions and competitive landscapes to inform client strategies.
- Benchmark clients financial performance against industry peers and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and market dynamics that may impact client strategies.
Mentorship and Leadership:
- Mentor and support junior team members providing guidance on financial modeling data analysis and client engagement.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications: Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications (e.g. CFA CPA) is strongly preferred.
Professional Experience:
- 4 6 years of experience in financial consulting investment banking corporate finance or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis modeling and project execution.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of valuation techniques and financial tools such as Bloomberg Capital IQ or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and present complex financial concepts.
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a strategic mindset.
