Requirement for Sr. Network Engineer with CCIE certification

Location: Newark, NJ ( Hybrid -Who can go 1 day onsite)

Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities:

• Gather network security requirements
• Architect and design Network Security solutions
• Architect and design CheckPoint firewalls, VPN, and IPS
• Configure and maintain CheckPoint Firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and security rules and VPN
• Manage and monitor network security devices
• Develop network design and architecture documents
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
• Perform peer reviews to ensure design consistency and operability once deployed
• Identify network performance tuning issues and recommend solutions

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of designing, architecting, and implementing Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, and security)
• 5+ years of extensive experience with CheckPoint Firewall configurations and management
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and networking protocols i.e. BGP and OSPF
• Experience with VPN and VRF
• Good understanding of network architecture and integration
• Monitor network performance and implement enhancements to ensure reliability and security
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Must be proficient in Visio diagramming and design documentation
• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills

CCIE certification is mandatory
