Job Description

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our staff and clients, ensuring smooth operation of our technology systems and applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a solid understanding of IT principles, particularly in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical support inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing prompt and effective assistance.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and networking equipment.

• Document and track support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system to maintain accurate records of issues and solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and implement solutions.

• Provide training and support to staff on using various software applications and technology tools.

• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance support services.

• Assist in creating and updating user guides and documentation for technical processes and systems.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and security standards, particularly regarding patient data privacy (HIPAA).

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in the healthcare or medical field.

• Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and software applications.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical users.

• Familiarity with help desk software and ticketing systems.

• Knowledge of network configuration and security principles is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, etc.) are a plus.
