Job Description: Test Engineer Senior
GDIT has an opportunity for an enterprise applications tester to work with ENERGY STAR's Qualified Products Exchange team in the continued development, testing, operations, and maintenance of its data collection, validation, storage, reporting, and publication solutions. The candidate will be responsible for testing the full suite of Products tools and implementing improvements to the automated testing framework for all Products web-services. The candidate will be responsible for testing ENERGY STAR's data exchange system to data.energystar.gov . In addition to that, the candidate will perform data analysis and data quality checks across the enterprise system to ensure accurate reporting.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Support active development and testing of SOAP and RESTful web services
- Generating web services using SAP Designer Tool
- Proficient with xml and JSON
- Maintain and update project level test plan
- Implement automated selenium framework for the Product Finder applications
- Query database schemas on multiple environments using PL/SQL
- Creating/Updating SQL queries based off the requirements
- Functional testing of new development and/or maintenance in coordination with development team
- Creation and maintenance of test documentation
- Monitor daily jobs and review automated test results
- Perform 508 testing for all ENERGY STAR Products applications
- Create new test strategies for on-going development
- Support creation and/or maintenance of reports in BI
- Perform data analysis and quality checks to ensure system health
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor of Science
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience in systems and web service testing
Required Technical Skills & Abilities:
- SAP Business Objects (BI) experience
- SAP Data Services experience
- Experience with querying/scripting languages and automated testing methodologies
- Experience in data analysis and data quality
- Strong analytical aptitude
Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
- Background in Agile methodology desired

The likely salary range for this position is $91,800 - $124,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
