Job Title : MRI Technologist

Location : Panama City, FL

Shift Type : Day

Shift : Monday - Thursday (9:00 AM 7:30 PM)

On-call : As needed

Call Back : 2-hour minimum; time and a half pay for callbacks

Hourly Rate : $29.89 to $39.76, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team in Panama City, FL. In this role, you will perform technical MRI procedures and apply magnetic resonance imaging techniques to detect and diagnose pathologies. You will be responsible for operating and regulating MRI equipment, producing high-quality images, and organizing them in PACS. You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform MRI procedures to detect and diagnose pathology.
• Regulate equipment to produce high-quality magnetic images and process them in PACS.
• Apply your knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts for imaging of the head, neck, body, musculoskeletal (MSK), and spine.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Provide compassionate care and effectively communicate with patients.

Qualifications :

• Education:
• Associates Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; 3 years preferred.
• FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License required.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
